Anja Dahlmann has been Head of the Berlin Office of the Institute for Peace Research and Security Policy (IFSH) at the University of Hamburg since October 2021 and serves as a research associate in the research and knowledge-transfer project Arms Control and New Technologies. Previously, she worked at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP), most recently as a researcher and head of the third-party funded project The International Panel on the Regulation of Autonomous Weapons (iPRAW). Anja Dahlmann has closely followed the negotiation process on Lethal Autonomous Weapons Systems (LAWS) and advises the competence network particularly on issues related to arms control. In addition to her academic expertise, Ms. Dahlmann contributes valuable experience in policy advising to the network and provides support regarding impact and dissemination strategies as well as engagement with relevant political decision-makers.
